xbox one mics and adaptors! don't wast your money

so the xbox one one mic is trash so bad that you have to play using you kinect and then you can't even mute ur kinect so you have no privacy everyone can hear your background noises. And then you go buy an adaptor so you can use ur turtle beach head phones.
big wast of money the quality is very bad the game chat volume is also the same for the in game volume so if you turn it up they both go up then you can't hear your chat volume. it would be nice if microsoft can fix this so i can at least feel i got my moneys

No, you can't connect HDMI. There are adaptors you can use to plug it into a HDMI slot, but there is zero improvement of image, so they are a waste of money.

 

Will the Xbox One have a cooling fan?

There are third party cooling accessories designed for the Xbox One but you don't need them. Don't waste your money.

 

New update coming out that's supposed to let you adjust the volume of different app maybe that'll fix it it's supposed to come out this month some time

 

I have the same chat adapter and i can turn game sound right down and chat right up.

Or chat right down and game right up or both at the same time

 

There's an option in the settings that says something like "Use Kinect for in game chat" that you can toggle on and off, so you can definitely turn Kinect off for voice chat.

As for the headset adapter, it may be an issue with the headphones you're using it with. On the adapter there are buttons to turn the volume up and down, but there are also buttons to change the balance between the game sounds and voice chat, so using those
you can get the mix just how you like it, so if you want the game sound quiet and the voice chat loud, for example, you can do that. The quality of the voice chat is crystal clear too. I'm using the official MS stereo headset, but a friend of mine uses a Turtle
Beach headset (I'm not sure which model) and he says the same as me, so I think either your headset has an issue or you're not using the controls on the adapter correctly.
