    My xbox one stock mic is acting up. I can hear people in my party but I cant talk. Everything else works please help.

    Xbox One Microphone Help!!!!

    I hate to say this again but doing a hard Reset will fix this until the next time. Hold down power button until it turns off then restart and try party again. Also make sure the controller is updated and the chat connector is attached.

    I'm having the exact same problem, it was working fine yesterday, I've tried the above suggestions a couple of times without success... looks like another £20 for a new one

    Think I've only ran into this issue once, started working again just unplugging it from the controller and plugging it back in.

    Thanks for your post. I understand you are experiencing an issue with using your microphone with the Xbox One X. It's recommended to use a headset with a 3.5mm jack with support for headphones and a microphone that will plug into an Xbox Controller.
