XBOX One Mic

Discus and support XBOX One Mic in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; I would just like to vent and say that not being able to connect a wireless Xbox 360 mic to an Xbox One is the dumbest thing.     Hello people, my xbox one mic will not work when trying to play black ops 2 on the xbox one. But it does work completely fine for actual xbox one games, is my mic the problem? Can i fix this without getting a new mic or must i buy a new mic?

    XBOX One Mic

    This is a support forum for troubleshooting issues. As that's not something that's supported we cannot help you out here.

    However, there is a feedback site where you could voice your concern and which the console's devs and engineers read. It's no guarantee that any backwards compatibility would ever be created for this, but it does at least get to be seen by the right pairs
    of eyes.

    The mic you get with the Xbox is complete *** every one I know who has an Xbox one had the mic break because Microsoft cannot make a quality product

    Day one update - Add the blueray option

    Xbox One comes with Kinect it can be used as a mic. If you don't want to use Kinect as a mic then buy a headset. I have no problem using Kinect as a mic.

    MIC WONT LET ME SPEAK BUT CAN HEAR

    Both mics are xbox official headsets and controllers, one of the controllers is a day one edition but just bought another brand new official xbox controller to see if that was the problem. The Mic just randomly stopped working one evening. And yes the
    mic symbol is shown in the top right hand corner with no line through it
