    XBOX ONE MIC WILL NOT LET OTHERS HEAR ME...THE UNSOLVABLE PROBLEM


    Last night, my xbox one headset just stopped letting me talk to other people. I could still hear them, but they couldn't hear me. I have troubleshooted this for over 12 hours today and still have no solution. I have opened ports, triggered ports, cleared
    my mac, removed my account, added my account, bought another headset (that didnt fix it), reset my gateway, reset my xbox, hard reset my xbox. You name it, I have done it. On top of talking to over 10 Microsoft support agents who still haven't been able to
    give me a solution. My NAT is open and has been open.

    I have been online researching and seeing many other people with the same issue that seemingly has no solution. It is not hardware, it is not network. It is a microsoft issue that they refuse to fix. Who is going to help us? Support agents want me to pay
    a fee of hundreds of dollars to fix my xbox. No thanks. I'm not sinking more money into something that isn't my fault. I'd rather go buy a PS4.

    To close,

    Does anyone have any little freaking idea what the issue is or when MS will actually address and fix the issue? If not, comment on this thread anyways and let me know that you have the same issue. MS is going to lose so many customers over this.

    Same problem here - I can hear others in party chat but not in game, nobody can hear me at all!!

    Xbox Mic can hear others but no one can hear me

    okay so my brothers just got an xbox live account and we tried to party up and he can hear me but I can’t hear him

    He has a brand new Xbox one S, brand new Xbox one mic and controller. We’ve tried troubleshooting, weve tried swapping headsets and the same thing happens? Does anyone have a fix to this

    I bought both a standard mic, as a replacement, and a mic adapter, to use with my Beats 2 headphones. Neither are working (standard mic before and after controller update as a result of the mic adapter) on two separate controllers.

    I can hear others in Call of Duty, but they can't hear me. Xbox.

    This was on Xbox with out modifying any settings. However, after trying to see if I was chat banned, I discovered that the issue is that by default, my open mic sensitivity was set to 100, blocking out any and all noise from the mic.

    Update, bought a xbox one headset adapter to work with my AX720 Triton headset. Same issue. This is not hardware. Even when i go to private party the mic picks up nothing. This is a premium headset with the adapter. Can we please come up with a solution

    People can't hear me!

    could it be that the mic is pointing the opposite direction of your mouth? sometimes a one directional mic wont pick up the noise around it check which side the mic faces or talk on the other side of the mic and see if the mic volume changes.
