    Xbox one mic problem


    My first adapter broke & i went to buy another one & that one didnt work (thought it was damaged because the box said open box item), so i took that one back & got another one, still not working. Ive used another controller & another headset & im still
    having the same issue. Ive updated controlller, power cycled xbox & still having the issue. Party chat still says mic cant be found & adapter doesnt show up in devices. I dont know of any more solutions, can anyone help me? Thanks.

    xbox one mic problem

    I've tried all of that and I have two mics and they work at times and then quit on me. Complete bs the buttons work on the mic and light up and make the volume noises but no chat I've tried messing with the settings too

    It seems to be happening to a lot of folks, me included. That said, getting an answer from these folks in a timely manner is about as easy as getting blood from a stone.

    Ive done everything there is in troubleshooting as stated, even the communicator mic that comes with the console doesnt work either.

    Day one update - Add the blueray option

    Xbox One comes with Kinect it can be used as a mic. If you don't want to use Kinect as a mic then buy a headset. I have no problem using Kinect as a mic.

    You should check the 3.5mm input on the headphones as it may be damaged
