    Xbox One Mic Not Working


    I have headphones without a mic and a separate desktop mic that I use for Xbox, PC, and PS4. For console, I have a splitter that allows me to plug in both at the same time. It works fine on PC and PS4, but on Xbox One my mic sometimes
    doesn't make any noise for my friends when I talk and once I adjust the wires it makes a cracking noise. It will work rarely, but as soon as I move the cords for the mic/headset it goes back to cracking or no one being able to hear me. The headphones work fine
    but the separate mic doesn't. I have tried updating my controller, restarting my controller, restarting the Xbox, using a different controller, new batteries, no batteries with wired, changing the settings, and some other stuff I can't think of right now.
    Please post any possible solutions.

    Xbox one mic not working

    since yesterday myself and friends have been having issues with the party chat. Two things are happening, 1. everybody can only hear certain people, 2. Chat is all jarbled up and sounds robotic. Only way to fix is to hard reset the xbox. This has to
    be an issue on microsofts side as they party chat has been having issues for the past week or so.

    Xbox one mic not working

    yay millions of others are struggling like me. my mic has zero volume. It can't register my voice nor let me hear other people, yet the yellow light still turns on when I hit mute. SOMEONE PLEASE FIND A SOLUTION AHHHHH D:

    Heya!

    Based on the description you gave us the issue may be with the controller or with the splitter. If you test another controller with that setup do you see the same issues?

    Are you able to try a new splitter by chance or not use the splitter at all?

    Using a usb mic

    Hello,

    The Turtle Beach Stream Mic works with the Xbox One by USB.

    Other mics may work but most don't.

    Does anyone know if Tritton Warheads 7.1's will work on an Xbox one?

    They will work as headphones. They will not work as a headset. The wireless mic connection will not work with the Xbox One and there's no wired mic cable option on the Warhead.

    Which mic are you trying to use? There are a number of 3rd party mics out there that are compatible and work with Xbox One.

    There are USB microphones that will work with the XBOX. One that works and is made for XBOX is the Turtle Beach Stream Mic. I personally have one and works great. Before purchasing it, I tried a BLUE Yet microphone which is USB and did not work. I
    am not aware if there are others that work but the Stream Mic works. It also has a PC app for some fine tuning and a headphone jack for Mic monitoring and game audio
