    xbox one mic not working with controller


    my mic has stopped working with one of my controllers randomly. it was working fine literally two days ago, now it says i have a mic plugged in but when i talk it doesn't say i do and i can't hear anyone through the mic, just the TV. wtf

    My mic is not working. I have an Xbox one Mic that works for both controllers but after noticing the mic quality was very poor I bought a new, expensive Mic. The mic doesn't work with either controller even though I can hear through it. I have messed with
    the settings and Idk what to do please help!!

    My Gears of War 4 Elite LE Controller was delivered yesterday, direct from Sydney Microsoft Store.

    My one problem is, is that my working Xbox One stereo headset unit with mic is not detecting my voice but .

    My Gears of War 4 Elite LE Controller was delivered yesterday, direct from Sydney Microsoft Store.

    My one problem is, is that my working Xbox One stereo headset unit with mic (tested on other controllers and is working normally) is not detecting my voice.

    What I have tried is: Updating the controller, with and without the headset inserted. Connected the controller via USB (tried with 2 cables).

    I have let the controller sit overnight with no power source at all.

    I have swapped between 2 different Xbox rechargeable battery units.

    Connected the controller via USB to my Windows 10 PC.

    Have hard reset my Xbox One Gears of War Edition multiple times.

    Tested the mic through various party chat sessions, even in the party alone. (When I use another elite controller and standard controller, it works fine).

    I have re-synced the controller several times, even to my other Xbox One Slim and connected it via USB.

    I'm all out of idea's.

    xbox one mic not working with controller

    so now i cant hear anything. my mic works with another controller perfectly (that one has a sticky A button and it's annoying to use so i don't) and it's pissing me off

    Same problem here - I can hear others in party chat but not in game, nobody can hear me at all!!

    seriously what the ***. i cannot use my other controller because the A button simply won't work right. the controller i have was working FINE 2 days ago, perfectly.

    Both mics are xbox official headsets and controllers, one of the controllers is a day one edition but just bought another brand new official xbox controller to see if that was the problem. The Mic just randomly stopped working one evening. And yes the

    I have 3 mics and only the original xbox one mic works. The stereo and the turtle beaches do not work due to this issue. Someone said there is a component in the controller that becomes lose and disables it. Did you try another controller?

    Default headset oddly not working

    There is a problem that is, if you switch your Xbox One on with the mic already plugged into your controller, then the mic will not work. But however your issue sounds different. It sounds to me like the auxiliary port on your Xbox One controller is broken
    (the place where you plug your mic into). Does it have dust or any visible problems, if not then you might have to look into getting a new controller.

    How come once I connect a headset to one of my controllers, I can't use the headset for other controllers?

    I've been having trouble with my mic not working properly on one of my controllers. I figured out that my controller was the reason why my mic sounded bad. I tried to connect my mic with a better working controller and I couldn't talk. I looked at all the
    settings and couldn't find an solution. I think the mic is linked to the other bad controller in some way.

    is it an Xbox Official Headset (or Stereo Headset) or a third-party one? Do you use an adaptor or do use the 3,5mm jack on the controller?

    Im afraid it didnt work.

    I've already unpluged any mic from my computer and also done that.

    The xbox app also has empty the mic selection menú and still doing the same.

    Each time Im using the control with the mic in the xbox, i start stream and the mic stops working.

    I dont think its about the computer detecting a mic.

    Its about dome option for use microphone and cancelling the one o have connected directly to the xbox.

    I could use the mic in the pc, but the audio is horrifying.

    There is nothing like using the mic directly in the control to the xbox.

    The sound is loud and clear.
