Xbox One Mic MUTE

Discus and support Xbox One Mic MUTE in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; so ive had my xbox for like 4 months and my mic now is not working all of a sudden as soon as i plug it in the mute button comes on and it wont un mute...     so ive had my xbox for like 4 months and my mic now is not working all of a sudden as soon as i plug it in the mute button comes on and it wont un mute i tried switching settings on mute on the console and everything nothing is working help would be appreciated

    xbox one headset the mic mute button keeps flashing orange

    My xbox one mic that comes with the xbox has lighting which is flashing on the mute button but i had updated my controller.

    Xbox One Sign In FAIL!

    Okay, so last time I wrote a post, my Xbox One would not load any of my games. It would kick me back out to the home screen. Video can be found here:

    This time, when I went to sign in, it say's "Hi,Craig!" and does not go away! Video is right over here:

    I've had another bug where I was chatting in a party, muted my mic, un muted my mic, and my mic in my party chat continued to be muted. One friend that I know say's his Kinect 2 just straight up died on him and wont turn back on. I have about five or so friends from my town who have Xbox Ones and have not experienced any of these bugs/glitches.

    Went ahead and returned my Xbox One. Really thinking about getting a PS4 now. Suggestions? Comments? Leave them below.

    Headset: Can hear friends, but mic won't detect my voice. Tried 2 headsets. Kinect mic works!

    Also, if I record a voice message, Xbox says no mic detected; check to see if your mic is muted.

    It's NOT muted!

    if I try to talk to my friends they cant hear me as if my mic is permanently muted when I try to mute or unmute no light shows sometimes my friends can hear me but then it goes again. I looked up this problem to fix it but apparently that if the mic is muted
    when the xbox turns off then it brakes. if anyone has a tip to stop this contact me on xbox one .

    Either on the headset itself or in the Chat mixer settings

    1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
    2. Select System > Settings > Display & sound.
    3. Select Volume > Chat mixer.
    4. Select one of the available options.
