  1. Xbox one mic jack problem

Today my controller fell off my desk from a foot after the incident when I tried to plug my headset into the mic jack (It's not a stereo headset adapter), I wasn't able to talk to my friends but i can hear them but acts like I hadn't even plugged in my
headphones at all, I then plugged my headset into another controller and it worked fine. I need help to figure this problem. There is something wrong internally within the controller but i don't know how to fix it and if I send this to repair it will take
up to 2-3 weeks but I want to have this problem resolved before hand; I have spent some time over the google to just find headset stereo adapters fixes and other fixes but no that much people seem to have this problem, I can just you use my other controller
just fine but I have spent 200 dollars on my scuf controller in the beginning of this year and still want to use it perfectly.

    :)

  2. 2.5mm 4 pole jack plug to 3.5mm 4 pole jack socket

So will the headset and mic I use on xbox one via adapter work with the 360 if I just use a 4 pin adapter

    2.5mm 4 pole jack plug to 3.5mm 4 pole jack socket ?

Mic and game sounds working fine on xbox one and PS4, I see there are 4 pins, and 360 is 2.5mm

Xbox One Chatpad suddenly stopped working

I purchased the Chatpad in January 2018, and it was working fine for a bit. All of a sudden the mic will not acknowledge me talking in Party Chat. If I plug headset directly into a xbox controller's 3mm jack, the mic seems to work fine. However, plug
it into the Chatpad's 3mm jack, and absolutely nothing. It does not work at all in Audio -> Stereo mode. I only get audio from the rest of the party if I use Audio -- Microsoft Sonic.

    More details:

    1. I am using an original Xbox One controller without the 3mm jack. That's the one the chatpad 3mm jack is no longer working with. Typing on the keypad works just fine. Mic does not work; and I cannot hear the Party.

    2. I borrowed a friend's new Xbox One controller with a 3mm jack. That is the one where the mic only picks up from directly plugging in the headset to the controller. When using the chatpad, the keypad works fine; the mic does not pick up; and I am able
    to hear the Party.

Party chat through Xbox App while hearing voice/game audio through headset connected to controller

    Hi there Horito,

Thanks for the reply. I was able to take a look into some resources. If you are using an Xbox One Controller, you will need the following components:

    • Xbox One headset adapter
    • 3.5mm CTIA Splitter cable (3 lines on the jack)
    • 3.5mm jack to jack auxiliary cable ( 2 lines on the jack)
You will need to connect the Xbox One headset adapter to the Xbox One Controller. Then the 3.5mm CTIA Splitter cable (3 lines on the jack) connects into the adapter. The splitter cable will be identified as headset and mic. The 3.5mm jack to jack auxiliary
cable ( 2 lines on the jack) will be used in the mic cord to the Yeti Mic.

    Hope this helps.

Blue Yeti mic on Xbox Series X?

I heard it would work if I connect the mic to xbox via usb, and connect the mic to the 3.5mm adapter jack that goes to mic jack and headset jack. And connect that adapter to my controller. Idk if that is true though

    Is the tritton warhead compatible

You're still not really making much sense here. The WarHead's mic's sync would be with the headset once plugged in (or prsuming the base stationas part pof the headset), which then syncs with the base station. If the XBox One
has an optical audio jack, then there shpouldn't be a problem. As for other XBox 360 headsets, yeah, there's the 1s that plug into the 2.5mm jack on the Xbox 360 controller, then there's the wireless sync 1s which sync directly to the console. The fact that
the mics aren't wired isn't going to hinder ther use.

How do I get game audio through my headset?

I'm using a 3.5 MM Jack, but when my friend gave me this controller he did say there was a problem with the mic jack, so that might be why, thanks mate!
