XBOX ONE MIC ISSUE

i was playing all day fine but when i was in a middle of a game my mic stopped working and i am not the first one this happen too they need to fix this problem before they start to lose people i know i am not the only one with this problem

Replaced the headset.

Replaced the remote.

Updated the remote.

Checked all settings and connections.

Turned off the Xbox unplugged everything and left it off for an hour

Talked to customer support numerous times.

i cant believe they have this much problem after this long and they know about this issue they should of fixed it a long time ago

Xbox one mic issue

Hi,

Sign yourself in as usual, plug your mic in and then try this:

Go to the home screen

Select your little profile icon at the top left next to notifications

Select Choose This Person on your profile

Test it in a party with just yourself in, you should see the green blip light up if it's picking up your voice.

Xbox one mic issue

My mic isnt working. I can hear everybody in game and party chat but they cant hear me. My mic wont pick up any noise at all from me. Anyone know anything i could do to make it work again. I havent caused any physical damage the the actual mic it just
stopped working.

Typically when it goes out you can just hard reboot your console (unplug it from the back) and plug it back in and make sure your headset/adapter are plugged in on startup and it usually fixes it itself.

What kind of headset are you using?

The problem lies with Microsoft,but sadly they won't admit this there is thousands having issues with mics so its obviously microsoft issue

I have had similar issues. Update your controller firmware.
A new update was released recently. Use the USB play/charge cable method when updating the controller with the adapter connected. You will have to do this with every controller.

Try using earbuds and mic from a phone to test when plugged into a controller adapter not the 3.5mm plug of the controller.

5 volume

6 at top of list is a button to turn mic on

I've done all that, I have tried every solution presented on the internet. Its driving me nuts, having to chat on the xbox app and its driving me crazy why this has happened.
