Xbox One Mic - Can hear people but nobody can hear me

I'm going to start by saying my mics are NOT muted..

I have a standard xbox one wired headset. I got the console in April and it was working fine. Suddenly around August it just stopped working. I was able to reassign the controller to my user name and it temporarily fixed the issue. Now no mics or headsets
are working at all.

I've opened all ports. I've tried to DMZ to the Xbox. I've tried both opening ports and DMZ at once and separate. I've tried the mic on 2 different controllers. I went and got a stereo headset adapter and tried my Beats and iPhone earphones in the adapter.
I went and bought a new controller with the built in jack, updated controllers, hard reset the xbox, made sure privacy settings were set to chat with everyone, factory reset the xbox, reset the network, tried wired and wireless connections, removing my account
for the xbox and signing back in. My NAT type is open and when I go to the detailed network details it says I'm behind a cone NAT. I've turned off my Kinect, unplugged it completely and still nothing.

When I hit the volume buttons on my Beats or iPhone earphones the green light in the party chat lights up as if I'm talking but all people can hear is the clicking. I can chat through my Kinect just fine. Call of Duty doesn't allow chatting through the Kinect
so I cant deal with this anymore. There HAS to be a way to get this fixed. I've Googled and read probably every article on this issue and everyone just keeps saying the headsets or microphones are broken or muted and I know for a fact mine are not.

Is there anything else I could possibly try to get this working again?

Xbox One mic will not work. Can hear but nobody can hear me. HELP.

My headset voice chat randomly stopped working.

My mic and party are not muted.

I've done hard restarts on my xbox.

I've reset my router.

I've literally tried everything.

I have a turtle beach xo four headset that I tried on 3 controllers. Nothing.

I went and bought a new microsoft headset and a new controller. Nothing.

To recap. 2 headsets, 2 adapters, 4 controllers and I'm ready to throw this thing away.

Please. Help.

I tried it in a different controller, now it isn't even recognising that my mic is plugged in...

 

I have had the same issue recently. My stock headset still seems to be working fine, but NO THIRD PARTY HEADSET WORKS. Let me re-phrase that. I can usually hear others in the ear piece, but the mic is not working at all. This is the case regardless of what
controller I plug it into, and regardless of whether I plug it in directly via 3.5mm jack or via the headset adapter. The headset (in this case Turtle Beach Recon 30x) and mic work fine if, say, I plug it into my phone to use. However, mic is non-functioning
on the Xbox One. I can hear and chat via Kinect just fine (though quality is terrible). And like I said I can still use the stock headset. In trying to troubleshoot with Turtle Beach, they said there have been reported issues with the New Xbox One Experience
dashboard and third party headsets. Yet another bug in the NXOE! Judas Priest it has been a horrible experience.

Anyway, I am about to return this headset, not because it is nonfunctioning, but rather that the Xbox One is nonfunctioning with IT.

Any ideas, folks?
