Xbox One mic broken.

I found out today that my microphone Xbox One is not functioning properly , tried using the USB cable , use other batteries and synchronize the control again , but nothing worked. I noticed this problem when I was talking to a friend in the group and
the Skype chat , and he did not hear anything , but I heard it , the orange LED works and listen to everything normal. Sometimes my friend can listen, but with a strong wheezing . I hope to help me , thank you.

Xbox One Mic Broken?

Yesterday, i bought my xbox one, happy as can be, i wanted to play some AW with my friend...

Mics not working, let me explain

Usually now, when you go into the guide and settings icon, it would show mic volume and that, but i dont see that

When i look in device and accesories, it shows its plugged in, but volume doesnt show up

To test, i downloaded skype, i could talk and hear skype (through headphones)

Yet, on everything else, nothing works except mic (headphones = no sound)

on the 3 buttons, the mute can turn yellow, and the + beeps

HELP!!!!!

When was the last time you updated the controller by connecting it to the console and heading over to Settings? If it's been a while you may want to give that a try. Be sure the headset is plugged in while you update.

 

I maked the update with the headset plugged, and the controller plugged on the Xbox.

 

I not the first with that problem on the mic, i just want to fix it fast.

 

Strange. Are you able to try another headset to rule out the possibility that there is an issue with your current one?
