Xbox One mic and controller problems

I can hear out of my mic all the time, but when I try to talk it sometimes cuts out. When this happens I can still hear people but they can't hear me. My controller acts like the right stick is being push up although it isn't. This only happens with the
right stick and it only goes up, but I am sure it isn't the stick itself doing it. Both of these things happen at random times and they both started out of nowhere. If anyone else has/had this problem please help. PS I alreadt tried updating my controller
    and reseting my xbox.

    :)

    Default headset oddly not working

There is a problem that is, if you switch your Xbox One on with the mic already plugged into your controller, then the mic will not work. But however your issue sounds different. It sounds to me like the auxiliary port on your Xbox One controller is broken
(the place where you plug your mic into). Does it have dust or any visible problems, if not then you might have to look into getting a new controller.
