    Xbox One Message/Party Systems


    I'm posting this because myself and several of my friends have noticed recently that sometimes messages will not go through on Xbox(but appear on the site still), party invites will not go through, notifications in general sometimes feel delayed. Will there
    be a fix to this problem soon? I'm sure there are others also noticing this.

    xbox one cross play to xbox 360

    Is there cross-console Party Chat? i.e. since it’s all “Xbox Live,” can people on Xbox 360s Party Chat with their friends on Xbox One?

    Is there cross-console Party Chat? i.e. since it’s all “Xbox Live,” can people on Xbox 360s Party Chat with their friends on Xox One?

    WHITTEN: For a variety of technical reasons – including the sound quality that I talk about below – we don’t support voice chat between the two systems. You will still be able to send and receive text messages to friends on both systems, however.

    I would guess they are always looking to improve the systems but some times it depends on connections and so on it can be angering. In some games I have to give my Xbox a hard reset but its how the game is set up....

    Only thing I can sub-jest for now is try a hard reset

    You will get an Xbox message on your Xbox One if you are invited to beta test. The last update was special in that it rehauled a lot of the underlying party system, making it incompatible with the previous system. This will not be the case when moving forward,
    so you should be fine partying with friends who are in the beta.

    The whole party system and message system is jacked up! It was sooooo perfect on the 360 that's part of the reason I went with the Xbox One. But was unpleasantly surprised to find that they changed it all up and nothing works worth a ***. BOOOOOOOOOO Microsoft
