    Xbox one mess up?


    Hi you guys out there. I have a problem and hope you guys can help me out.

    Yesterday i woke up from a nap and i got off netflix and went to youtube on my xbox one. then i got off and tried to launch a game. i literally had to mash the A button and the game would not launch. and i cannot quit apps now seeing as the menu button does
    not seem to work anymore. when i do get a a game to launch , the menu button in game still does not work. my friend had this problem himself. he unplugged his xbox from the wall and waited a few minutes before re plugging the system in. then his system was
    working properly. I tried to do the same thing and no such luck. so i was really hoping that someone here has the similar problem and has fixed it so i can find out what i'm supposed to do. I've heard that people are having the similar problem. Please helps
    guys/girls. I would greatly appreciate any help. thanks alot in advance.

    xbox one repair mess up

    Sorry to hear it. Call phone support back and set up an advance exchange. You will need a credit card for this. What they do is put a hold on the amount of the console (they do not take the money) and send you a console. Once you have received the console
    from them you package up the existing one and send it back. When they receive it they will remove the hold from your card.

    xbox one repair mess up

    i sent my xbox one in for repair on nov. 24th i got it back on dec. 9th i open the package and see my xbox has two 8 inch gouge marks on it i contact xbox support and all they tell me is sorry but you will have to send it back in and wait another 3 weeks
    to repair/replace it.........total BS they f&cked my console up and expect me to wait another 3 weeks

    i have not actually. does that mean i have to download my profile again and re download all my stuff? (i have premium for battlefield 4)

    No, a hard reset simply deletes the cache (also known as temporarily saved data); your games, saves, etc. will remain unaffected.

    Galactic Geek is right only the temporary memory will get wiped. All of your DLC, Profile and games will be safe. It is kinda like when you clear the system cache on the Xbox 360.

    No, a hard reset simply deletes the cache (also known as temporarily saved data); your games, saves, etc. will remain unaffected.

    Hey there. I can't get your screenshot to load, but I would first try this:

    Reset your display settings. Here's how:

    If there's a disc in the Xbox One console, eject it.

    On the console, press and hold the Xbox button for five seconds to turn off the console.

    Press and hold the Xbox button and the Eject button until you hear a beep to turn on the console. You will hear one beep right away and a second beep 10 seconds later. The power light will flash on before the second beep. DO NOT LET GO until the second beep
    occurs.

    Note This will boot your console in low resolution mode (640 × 480). To reset this setting, go to Settings in the guide, select Display & sounds, Video options, and then TV Resolution.

    If that doesn't help, run through the rest of the troubleshooting here:
    support.xbox.com/.../tv-or-monitor-screen-is-blank-while-connected

    Even though you don't have a blank screen, that page will help you through your display settings. Also, check your TVs settings to make sure they are set properly and that nothing was changed
