Xbox One - Memory Managment

Discus and support Xbox One - Memory Managment in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; I do like that I can manage my memory somewhat better now, but it still needs to be improved.     I do like that I can manage my memory somewhat better now, but it still needs to be improved. You can only have around 12 games that are around 30 GB. Right now, this isn't an issue because there aren't that many games out; however, when there are more
    (unless external storage support has been added) the only way to have beyond the storage capabilities would be to uninstall a game you don't play very much. Unfortunately, this also deletes game information so if you reinstall the game you don't have your
    progress. Unlike the 360 where you could delete the game and leave everything else. Also, if you install content for a game you don't own there is no way to delete it (I only bring this up because I'm planning on getting Call of Duty Ghosts, and already had
    the season pass from the 360). I just wanted to read other people's opinions on this and hope someone from Xbox reads my suggestion to BRING BACK THE XBOX 360 MEMORY MANAGEMENT!!!

    To be honest I since launch I haven't used IE on the X1 just haven't felt the need yet and I hate that Browser. I try tomorrow and try to load up something like that to test out if its wide spread issue.

    Xbox One - Memory Managment

    That's incorrect. Your save data is separate from the install. Deleting the install doesn't delete your save data.

    Games saves are now saved to the cloud. If you delete your game and then re install later you will automatically recover your saves.

    I realized that after I posted this. I tested it with Ryse since I was done with it anyway. I still think you should be able to look at games that you have DLC or any files for so you can delete that without reinstalling the game itself. Thanks though Xbox One - Memory Managment :)

    Um, just a friendly bit of info...that's not memory management, that's storage. Seriously, was excited when I read your title thinking I could adjust my memory usage but then realized you're talking about storing data not volatile memory usage.

    I realized that after I posted this. I tested it with Ryse since I was done with it anyway. I still think you should be able to look at games that you have DLC or any files for so you can delete that without reinstalling the game itself. Thanks though :)

    That's incorrect. Your save data is separate from the install. Deleting the install doesn't delete your save data.
