xbox one media remote..view and menu buttons don't work in blu-ray?

Just bought the xbox one media remote...view and menu buttons don't work in Blu-ray? my controller ones work just fine..anybody else have this issue?

fresh batteries, clear line of site but no dice?

Blu ray app Media Remote menu button

The Media Remote menu and view buttons still don't work in the latest blu ray app. The remote buttons work in other apps like Netflix so it appears to not be a hardware problem.

The menu button on the xbox one media remote does not work in the blu ray app. It will not pull up the blu ray dvd menu. The menu button on the gaming remote will pull up the blu ray menu. Can you notify me when this is resolved. The menu button does work
every where else except in the blu ray app.
