Xbox One Media Remote problems

I have had the media remote for a while. It always worked perfectly but all of a sudden buttons only work one time.

For instance, when I watch Netflix i'd like to skip the intro. I used to press the skip button >| a couple of times to skip the neccesary frames. But now when I press the button it only skips once and after that it doesn't work anymore. I changed the batteries
but that didn't work.

Anybody else have (had) this problem?

Does any one have any problems with the Xbox One Media Remote? All the functions on the remote work except for volume.

support the Microsoft first party media remotes.

Hi buddy. I'm starting to experience the same as you with regard to the media remote. I think it's just wearing out to be honest. I've had similar issues with other remotes over the years.

 

I haven't used it that much for it to wear out. It might be an app issue.

If it was worn out it wouldn't work at all or it work at some times. It's always one press of the button, every time.
