XBOX One Media Remote? (FreeviewBox)

I just got a XBOX One Media Remote so I can use it to watch Netflix and TV and such with out pressing fast-forward every time I put the controller down but I have a few issues?

TV = Panasonic TX37LZD85

Freeview = EchoStar Ultra Slim Box HDT-610R

TV Issues

Turing On (Turning Off Works)

Change AV (HDMI1 to HDMI2)

Freeview Issues

Can not change channel

Can not get into menu

Can not record channels

Yes, the
Xbox One Media remote will work with an Xbox One X. I use mine regularly.

 

If you have Kinect why not use that to control Netflix? Just asking?

And some times I don't want to shout out XBOX ****** when I just want to lay down and watch a movie...

 

I use the media remote for Netflix. It might be my old age but I feel uncomfortable talking to my Xbox.

Sorry can't help you though xtreme, had no issues myself.

 

Netflix is not an issue, its my freeview box, Microsoft have forgotten to add a option for this?

And you should be able to create you own commands!

I'm hoping that the people beta testing the TV guide feature know how to beta test
