Xbox One Media Rem not working after Netflix Update

My media remote was working fine until the latest update I got on the 7th of December. Now the only way I can pause or unpause a show is by pressing the back button. The navigation controls are spotty as well unless I'm in the main Netflix menu. Immediately
after the update was applied, the pause button worked, but it would work to get t he video to play again. It seems to have affected other apps too, but I can't be sure. This is pissing me off to no end because everything worked PERFECTLY up until that update.
It's not enough that Microsoft is REQUIRING an internet connection so the Xbox can update, but they're also making these updates mandatory and *** up your console in the process. Thanks, Microsoft!

FIX. IT. NOW.

Netflix not working keeps saying nw-2-5

after the recent update march 2 2018 for the Netflix app on Xbox one. It keeps saying error code nw-2-5 after just loading the app.. Netflix was working perfectly fine right before the new update. Also my internet is also working perfectly fine. As I contacted
Netflix about it also and they said it was my internet. But it's not. All my other apps for streaming are working. Gaming is good too. Why did it start acting up right after the new update. I don't like it as my kids watching Netflix mostly over the weekend
and now they cant.

Addendum, once unpaused, the information frame will not go away unless I press the back button. It's just stuck there. It also come up when a new episode starts eve n though I haven't pressed any buttons.

I have the same problem with Netflix and the media remote. The only buttons that still work are the Xbox home key, and the Play/Pause key. Media remote buttons work fine navigating the Xbox menu so I know it works fine but when using Netflix I cannot FF,
rewind, skip, select, etc. This started happening after the November update. If I uninstall Netflix app and reinstall it the remote will work fine until I power off the console at night. The next day when I use power up and use Netflix the remote is back to
not working again. I use energy-save power settings.

I can only press the skip button >| once. After I skip once I cant skip anymore. Also on Netflix with the original Xbox One media remote

Same thing here. Was on xbox live support for an hour last night getting it fixed. Seemed to work initially, but after loading up media center (which didn't actually load), everything went to hell again. Netflix won't load, espn continually buffering, etc.
Last night we power cycled the modem & router, reset network settings on xbox to default, I changed my mtu setting from auto(which it says should work) to a manual 1500(which should also work), and I reinstalled Netflix. Got Netflix and espn working again,but
now this morning after trying to connect to media center last night, it's all back to square one again. Also, I had just recently upgraded from the wireless g adapter to the dual-band n adapter, because of my initial issues trying to get media center to work.
Oh, and now instead of being wireless-wireless for media center, my pc is now hard wired. So I've got no idea why this is happening, except I think media center is trying to change some network settings somhow and it's messing everything up. Oh, one other
thing I did is switch from mixed-mode to N-only on the router, and that seemed to help.
