Xbox one media player snap-able?

so I love the media player app but is there anyway to play my music from a USB device and keep that music playing while playing a game such as forza horizon 2? Whenever I open up any other app the media player closes and the music stops, anyway known way
to listen to music while playing a game?

That is why I said it, because those apps have to be snapped. I want to play my game full screen with the music in the background.

Unnecessary with the media player. DLNA FTW!!! Just wish it didn't have to be snapped.

Also have you thought about dropping the songs from your USB to your Hard Drive then playing through the media app?

 

How could I do that? I've went into the storage settings but I don't see sny option to transfer the contents of it to my hard drive. Also am I correct in saying it's still called the "media player preview"? Meaning it's still in the beta stage?

 

Correct! It is still "Preview" I'm currently looking into moving music from a thumb drive to storage however in the meantime take a look at

THIS link. Maybe this can be another viable option to get your best jams rockin while your gaming or relaxing around the house!

I'll report back shortly if i find any tips on moving from a usb to Xbox One HD!

Got a little more info for you! Looks like as of the most recent update, you CAN Snap the "Media Player Preview" and play music, however un-snapping it will end the current music!
