    Xbox One Mbps problem


    My Xbox One has had a constant shift between 20Mbps and 30Mbps for download speed since I got it. However recently for no reason whatsoever, these past 3 days that download speed has completely tanked to 1Mbps to 10Mbps, with it usually sticking to the lower
    end of that spectrum, causing gameplay to be unplayable. Upload speed remains the exact same as it's always been at 5Mbps.

    I have changed nothing, moved nothing, done nothing new, but the Xbox is suffering terribly from this. I haven't damaged the console at all or moved any equipment around(I'm set up wirelessly), it just suddenly did this and is sticking to that speed. I have
    only had this console for almost a year now coming this December, so it shouldn't crap out this soon. I tested the speed on other devices aside from the Xbox and they remain in the 20-30 range depending on how far they are from the router.

    Did something happen on Microsoft's end that is messing up my connection to my region? (Wisconsin in the U.S.)

    What kind of interenet can I get away with for a smooth XB Live experience?

    5 mbps and above should be no problem. 3 mbps is the bare minimum you can play on.

    im wired but having the same problem. comuter is getting 57 mbps and xbox one 8-12 mbps so wtf i tired the same wire as the computer and still nothing. reset router and nothing. unpluged power supply in the back and repluged it and still nothing. roomate
    is having same problem. it has to be something up with the xbox one.

    Xbox One slow Mbps test

    This is ridiculous! Down speed as low as 0.02 mbps. It takes a full day/overnight to download any updates. Slow is one thing, dead is another. I have checked all possible sources of the problem, and it is certainly caused by the xBox One, another "superb"
    product put on the market by Microsoft. My MBP shows a down speed in excess of 70 mbps,so my network is not the problem. Network IT tech suggested a port forwarding problem. Any thoughts on this?

    problems connecting to xbox live for the past several days

    I've added a wifi booster in the problem room. Even with 100% wifi signal, the download speed was terrible (0.01 mbps). I've connected the xbox one to the wifi repeater via an ethernet cable and the problems seem to have cleared (download speed of 13.9
    mbps). Has the wifi card in the xbox started to go bad?

    When all devices are running together my Xbox takes the biggest hit

    I have Internet with a 25 Mbps download speed ... I typically get 20 to 25 Mbps BUT my Xbox One seems to be LIMITED to 1.5 Mbps ... One point five Megabits per second? Why? WHY?
