Xbox one max HDMI cable length?

I've been using an 8ft HDMI cable for my Xbox and it worked just fine, however I just switched to a 45ft cable for my projector setup and I am getting either terrible degradation or no signal at all. The HDMI is HDCP certified and works just fine with my
laptop. I've read elsewhere that others using 40ft and longer cables are having no trouble at all, but this is my third try with a 3rd separate cable. I tried Xbox one support live chat, but they simply said it was too long, which isnt the case at all. Any
help would be greatly appreciated.

Xbox One X for 1080p gaming?

I do have a question. I know the console comes with a 4K compatible HDMi cable, do I need that hooked up if I have a 1080p TV? My cables are all run through the wall, thats why I ask. Hoping I can get the texture updates and all of that without the 4K compatible HDMI cable thats included and just use my Xbox One S HDMI cord.

If it's a 360 you can use HDMI cables, I don't know what the max length is.

The max I would go is 12 feet without a amplifier to improve the signal. Normal signal strength is not enough to flow through that kind of resistance of the cable. All wiring does have a certain ohm resistance and the signal strength is not enough for most
devices to run through long cable runs.

I'd get that and cable it in between the 45 footer and the console. Use a 6 footer between the amplifier and the console and the other end to the long run of cable.

Is tough to say, as its also dependent on the quality of that HDMI cable. A quality HDMI of that length would cost hundreds and hundreds of dollars. From what I've read online 45ft is the max length, but that is a very standard quality, and I don't think
it would handle anything over 720p. Other reports have 25ft as being the max length... so its very hard to say.
