    Xbox one Marketplace Purchasing


    Hi, as Black ops 2 has been released on xbox one via backwards compatibility I have been trying to buy it off the xbox store on my console but I keep getting the message, "Your account is unable to make this type of purchase on Xbox.com. Please complete
    this transaction from your Xbox."

    I am already trying to complete the transaction on my xbox. I tried to troubleshoot the issue and it said to buy it on xbox 360, I dont have an xbox 360 anymore as i have an xbox one, Please help.

    Purchasing from the Xbox 360 Marketplace using Microsoft Money requires the use of an Xbox 360 console.

    Make Your 1st Purchase on Xbox LIVE Marketplace:

    Available only to participants making their first Xbox LIVE Marketplace purchase since joining Xbox LIVE (it is still considered a "first time purchase" if the participant has not made a Marketplace purchase since 12/31/07).

    This is defined as the purchase of an Xbox LIVE Marketplace item using Microsoft Points or a dollar denominated credit card transaction. Your first purchase must be made on or after the confirmation of your enrollment into the Program.

    The purchase of Microsoft Points only will not count towards receiving these Microsoft Points.

    If you have already made an Xbox LIVE Marketplace purchase prior to the start of the Program, you are not eligible for this award.

    Only participants who make their first purchase on the Marketplace will earn one hundred (100) Microsoft Points.

    Won’t let me download game on 360

    The Xbox One marketplace is more likely to be an Xbox One game. There are Xbox 360 games on there that you can purchase to play on Xbox One but not forward compatible if they were not bought on the Xbox 360 marketplace. I believe that is the case.

    Hey, wolfster259! If you are getting this message, it's because your account is registered in the system as a Child Account. The only way around purchasing Games with Gold for Child Accounts is by making the purchase on an Xbox 360. Changing the settings
    to make "unrestricted purchases" does not work for the 360 Marketplace, so you will be unable to make these purchases on the Xbox One or the Marketplace website. For more information, please check out our
