Xbox One Marketplace Prices Inflated?

When I first got my console the prices for everything in the Marketplace were normal but then about a week later they all went up by a good amount example Terraria is on sale for $12 right now but for me it's still amost $20 and GTAV shows up as $99 why
is this? Minecraft was supposed to be a $5 upgrade but its almost $8 for me? Anyone know any reason it did this?

What about digital titles? Do you think that Microsoft might reduce their prices?

I think that Microsoft might be decreasing the prices of games on their marketplace to discourage people buying used games. It worked well enough for Steam but in my opinion, a lot of the titles on the marketplace simply aren't worth it. Maybe the XBOX ONE will improve that.

Games prices,not Microsoft,only devs/publishers choice.By the way,the games that got a price cut or sales on Xbox one marketplace,are games publish by Microsoft.

The Xbox one price drop is only in UK and still the price is over $/€ 500.

More a smart move than a dumb one.

 

Take a look in the details before a purchase. Some downloads have specials like add-ons or bundles that may increase the price.

Several of the deals are Gold specific, are you signed into an account with Gold?

 

Yes I have Gold and its not just certain items its everything in the Marketplace. Example the digital Halo MCC is showing up as $99.95, Tetris Ultimate is $13.45, WWE 2K15 is $99.95, GTA V is also $99.95, Terraria is showing up at $25.55, Magic 2015 is $13.45,
Destiny is $99.95 on sale right now for $74.96, and Minecraft is showing up $26.95 even though I own the Xbox 360 Edition. Tomb Raider Definitive Edition is $56.20

 

Out of curiosity, what region are you in, and what region does your xbox and account think you are in?

Are those $CAD prices?
