    Xbox One making weird audio sounds


    My Xbox One console is making a weird audio sound after the current update on May 12 2015. The sound resembles something metallic hitting a concrete/hardwood floor minus the repetitive pinging noise. It occurs every 30-60 seconds but sometimes longer. I
    restarted the console to try to fix the problem but nothing happened. I had my console since October 3 2014 and haven't had any issues until now. Can I uninstall the current update to try to fix the problem or do I have to suffer with this strange issue I'm
    experiencing ? It's annoying to even power up my console now...

    Xbox adapter making weird sounds

    The power adapter shouldn't be making any sort of humming/buzzing sound. It could mean that there's either some sort of issue with the power adapter or it's small fan inside.

    If that's the case, and this is starting to bother you, please get the power supply exchanged (if you have a warranty), or replaced (if you do not have a warranty any longer) by going

    we had the same problem and found it was in the xbox one sound settings, set up was saying 7.1 so we reduced to basic stereo in the set up and the buzzing stopped :)

    It seems like it might be something related to the HDMI port being possibly faulty or not making a full connection with the cable. All other native apps through the X1 are working fine, its only any sort of HDMI in feed going through the Watch TV app that
    has buzzed/phased audio.
