Xbox One Making Noise When Off

no, it's not the power "brick" as the power brick is on a Extended power cord adapter over 15 foot away. It's coming DIRECTLY from the console itself. Like it's HDD constantly spins up, and down over and over. Even when it's not downloading anything.

What's the deal?

Xbox One Still Making Noise When Off

My standard edition Xbox One is doing the same thing. It's quiet, but noticeable enough when everything else is turned off at night. It sounds like a fan or the hard drive might still be running.

Xbox One Still Making Noise When Off

My Xbox One does not seem to be completely silent when it's off. It still sounds like it's running. The first time I turned it off, it was quite loud, so I removed the disk I had in it. Following that, I turned it off again to see if that would fix the
noise, but it just made the noise quieter. Can someone reassure me that my brand new One is giving up on life already?

And it indeed is set to instant wake mode, I can just guarantee you with a 100000% it IS not the power brick, it's in a closet in a different Room, with the backup power supply units.

It's like a ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh stops ehhhhhhhhhhhhh ehhhhhhh stops. sound even gets quieter when you cover your hand over the top vent, so that alone says it's inside the darn console itself making this "odd" noise. It's annoying as hell. Can hear
it over the TV, and even my loud PC with 8 fans.

The xbox makes the same noise, when on and off. It's almost like the Xbox never shuts down. I don't mind it making noise when it's on, but when it's off and I'm trying to sleep it's pretty annoying.

My xbox one s makes a loud loud noise when start up it stops for about 30 sec and then comes back I try to turn it off but when the xbox is off it is louder than when it was on and now i cant use it for now sometimes i turn it on and it doesn’t make the
noise but if i turn it off then again in 1hour or 2 then it does it again.

i have the same problem with the chirping noises, the chirping was not there when i first got the xbox one but after a wyl now it starts making the noises. the fan seems to be loud off and on.
