Xbox one making me re purchase games I’ve bought on Xbox 360

I’ve bought banjo kazooie, banjo tooie, and banjo kazooie nuts and bolts, yet Xbox one is telling me that I have to buy them again. They aren’t appearing in my “ready to install,” it’s as if I never owned it.

I own the games on Xbox 360, and I currently have them downloaded on the Xbox 360 as well. So why aren’t they appearing on Xbox one?

I checked my order history on my account, and they aren’t there. I think I purchased them with “Microsoft points” back pre-2013 before they were discontinued. Now, in my order history, it shows the “Microsoft points” that I bought from 2011-2013, but it’s NOT SHOWING WHAT I BOUGHT WITH THEM.

I purchased these games with Microsoft points, but it’s not showing anything that I bought with the points in my history, just the points themselves. This is fking bs. For 5+ years I’ve wanted to play these games, Cus I OWN THEM, and I STILL HAVE THEM DOWNLOADED ON THE 360, but my Xbox one is acting like they never existed. This has pissed me off for 5+ years, and there’s STILL no solution. Straight up ROBBERY.

I'm sorry to know about this, and I know that this could be extremely frustrating; However, to further check this you will need to get in touch with the online support because they are the only ones who can access the account (when verified) and investigate the case and see if there is anything that can be done from their end.

Access Contact us | Xbox Support, follow the instructions after clicking on the green button "Contact us" and choose to get help either from an online chat agent or request a callback. Make sure the region on the support website is set to your correct region in order not to find issues with the steps.

Who bought the games, you/your account or your brother's? You won't be able to download games that his account bought, only your own purchases.

If 360 games are not compatible with xbox one then the option to re-purchase or download for free won`t even exist.

There simply won`t be any 360 games on the xbox one.

As far as the 360 goes,anything you have already purchased will always be there to download for free,for as long as microsoft support the 360.

The Xbox One marketplace is more likely to be an Xbox One game. There are Xbox 360 games on there that you can purchase to play on Xbox One but not forward compatible if they were not bought on the Xbox 360 marketplace. I believe that is the case.

I don’t think the connection is the problem i’ve only had an xbox one and I’ve never played assassins creed 3 on an xbox 360. It’s tell me to download mr profile from the xbox 360 when I only have an xbox one
