Xbox one making a noise

Discus and support Xbox one making a noise in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; Ive only just notice this, but after about 30mins of turning my xbox one on i hear like a cricket sound coming from the xbox, i think its the fan,...     Xbox one making a noise


    Ive only just notice this, but after about 30mins of turning my xbox one on i hear like a cricket sound coming from the xbox, i think its the fan, should i sent it in for a repair or could it be dust .. i think it started after the this months update ...

    This happened to me too. I´ve been playing Killer Instinct and then I turned off the console. After a couple of minutes I heard a weird sound, like a buzz or something, when you try to connect something to the power socket. I connect my console in a power
    regulator but none of my consoles or even the power regulator itself do this weird sound. I guess this is not something good, but Im not sure. I want to know too.

    Im sorry, I don´t know english so I do my best to speak it hehe.

    Hi there. Mine is doing this also but it's all the time. I sent mine off but there being *** as they said they will send me out a new one once they have it and now there saying its a repair. So I spoke to one of the managers at support and now there ment
    to be sending it back and gave me a code to book an advance exchange.

    Why they can't just send out a new one like they said (have the transcript of the chat) I don't know. Once this is all sorted I don't know if I will use the support again.

    Hope you have better luck with your Xbox one.

    Why would you consider not using support again? Support try to do the best for you as the customer. Sometimes what one person says won't always be what the engineers/repair team feel is the best way to deal with a specific situation. The support staff are
    a good bunch and will always try to provide you with the best service out of any situation. Unfortunately for you this time the repair team deemed your console repairable and that's what you were offered.

    As I read your post it seems the support staff actually overrode the decision to repair your console and got you an advanced exchange?

    That isn't so the repair team haven't even looked at my xbox yet.

    What im trying to get at is, 2 people said i would be getting a new xbox one and all i needed to do was send mine in. So i did send it in and if i hadn't looked up the status of my xbox i would of been waiting for a new xbox one to come but instead it said
    repair and my old one would of come home. So i messaged someone for the 3rd time and they told me yep repair only.

    So you can see why i was upset.

    Wasn't till i spoke to a manager after a hour that i finally got what i was told i would get from day one.

    They still have my xbox (got it Monday and got an email today saying they have it) and im still waiting for them to return it so i can get it all sorted.

    Why they cant send me a new one as they have mine already i just don't get it, so all wont be sorted till i get mine back and i message them again to arrange the advanced exchange

    I may of been rash saying i wont use them again but as you can see i wont be fully happy with them until everything is sorted out the way they said it will be.
