    Xbox One makes annoying squeaky noise.


    So a couple of days ago I've been noticing a squeaky sound coming from my xbox and I have just been ignoring it. Now it is completely annoying as while im playing call of duty I hear this low pitch squeaky noise and it also happens when im watching Netflix.
    This doesnt occur though if im on the main menu. Anyone know why I have this problem? How to prevent it? And if ill have to send my xbox one in for repairs?

    Mine doesn't make that noise. I'd get a replacement before the warranty is up. Get on the phone and complain. Remember, the squeaky wheel gets the grease.

    My Xbox one elite console 1TB making high pitched noise

    Okay so when my fan on my xbox one slowly starts making a high pitched noise then when the fan is warm it makes a high pitched squeaky noise not mega loud but lets just say if I didn't have headphones I wouldn't be able to play it

    Any advice guys it's still under warrenty with the store I bought it from Is it something very bad am I in trouble with my xbox one?

    This could be a hard drive problem, especially since it appears to be happening when the hdd is being accessed. I would call tech support and see if they can trouble shoot the problem over the phone. If not they may suggest warranty replacement.

    yeah, I've gotten the update finally, but nothing has been fixed. I can't cancel updates or anything. Also, my Xbox makes a repeating whirring noise that sounds like crickets when I'm playing games, it's probably the disc drive or the fan thats squeaky,
    but it's annoying as hell. And also, in my game DVR, when I try to select a clip older than my latest one, it just boots me back to my latest recording, and then I'm left having to press the right bumper to skip though my clips.

    Hello there!

    I have never had nor heard of this issue and i have been playing Xbox since the very first was released (Halo:CE baby!) If it is not effecting the controller working i wouldn't be to worried but if it is really annoying you as squeaky noises can so often
    then i would advise returning them to Best Buy.

    So just to confirm and answer your question Xbox controllers don't usually after one days use

    Could just be the fan or hdd getting a bit squeaky, depending on how old your system is, it's perfectly normal. I have a day one system and it started making squeaking noises only 3 months into it's life but I still use it today, 2.5 years later, and it's
