Xbox one make noise playing audio cd's

Everytime i insert an audio cd i hear a rasping sound , some help please????

Xbox One will support CD playback, but.....

The Xbox One will support CD playback, but will not support MP3 playback or "ripping". It will, however, be able to play streaming music from certain devices. The following link provides all the details

Do you think this is just to sell their unlimited music service, or a response to the PS4 news that they won't have these capabilities?

XBOX ONE AUDIO CD PLAYER NOT WORKING

I have a small audio CD collection and was happy xbox one can play it. So last night i got a new audio cd and tried to play it, but the system wont read the audio CD. Tried the older CD's that used to play and now they wont play also. Anyone else having
issues with Audio CD Player ?

Is it only audio CDs? Do games and DVDs make the same sound? Also is the rasp the Xbox itself or something through the speakers?

3 things I would recommend verifying.. 1. that these CDs don't have any cracks in them and 2. if these are burned CDs have you checked to make sure they are not warped from heat? I have purchased blanks that record fine but the entire spindle is off enough
to make every one of them sound like they are going to take off in the player.. Finally make sure your Xbox is totally flat or level, file reads spin faster and any oddity can cause a worble sound or rasping sound as the lens or guide is being mildly impacted.
If you do see any scratches on your CDs I would be looking for repair.

Mine makes a crunching noise and says to put in an xbox or blueray cd

I have noticed the exact same sound and like di5codonk3y question whether this noise is right. In fact I have set up a advanced replacement because I feel the noise does not sound right. Why should the noise be excessive when at the dashboard and then
gone when playing games, surely this should be the other way round? Is the xbox defragmenting the drive or something at the dashboard? Wish I knew if this was normal. Has anyone else noticed also after removing a cd from the drive that the xbox cd drive
will make a noise like it rewinding something?

DTS CD works as a similar format to the theatrical DTS where it is the digital signal recorded like an audio CD. It's basically the same way a computer modem works over a phone line, which is the white noise you're hearing.

So both your device and your receiver have to know what to do with it.

As no one has made DTS CDs in about 20 years, it is very likely that it is no longer supported Outside of enthusiast equipment
