Xbox one low beep/mini grind sound when disc is put in

Discus and support Xbox one low beep/mini grind sound when disc is put in in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; Whenever I put a disc in.     Whenever I put a disc in. Right before it reads it, it does a low beep that kinda sounds like a grind. Is this normal?

    Disc drive making beeps when I put in a disc. Is this normal?

    This happened 4-5 times. I put in Fable 3 and the console was fine but I heard this low pitched beeping sound (not VERY low pitched, but not high pitched either) and occasionally when I played. It happened with Black Ops as well. It did not interrupt gameplay,
    it just beeped. Not sure if it's the disc drive going on me or what, I've only had the thing since Christmas. I tried putting Battlefield 3 in and it did not beep.

    Here is a video I recorded of the sound. You may have to turn up the volume a bit, and it is near the end. You'll probably know when you hear it. It kind of sounds like a check-out at a grocery store.

    it's an Xbox 360 SLIM, just so you know. I put in Fable 3 in again a few minutes ago and it was fine. I even played around 10 minutes of the game and didn't get that beep.. thank goodness. EDIT: To be precise the beep is at EXACTLY 2 seconds in.

    I'd be scared as hell to put a disc in that thing. It sounds like it's grinding one when you turn the power button off. I like my Day One console. It looks like an entertainment box and not a toy. Now that Witcher Xbox One looked freakin nasty! I would only get that version!

    i just got my 3rd xbox 360 couple weeks ago it makes a grinding noise when loading disc,yes ive installed it to hard drive then after every 10min it makes a rattling sound,also when ejecting it grinds my gears.it makes slight beeps when inserting discs is
    this normal my other xbox did not do that and im not talking about the power beep its different only notice if you lidten closely let me know if you have had this problem

    Does that happen with every game disc?

    Does it also happen with BluRay movies and movie DVDs or music CDs?

    When the disc is inserted, does the console show a disc is inserted?

    How does the buzzing sound? Is it more a "humming" buzzing sound, as if the disc is uneven and is spinning unevenly? Or is it an electrical buzzing, like an electrical motor unable to turn? Or is it a grinding buzzing as if plastic gears are slipping?

    What about the beeping noise? Is it a beep similar to the console turning on and off, or is that a different beep?

    Can you record a video of your console doing this and uploading that to YouTube?

    Hello Callidus F! I'm Kris and I'd be happy to help you with your question.

    Sorry to hear you are having issues with your Series S. Sounds like you have already done a lot of triage to get it working. Have you tried forcing it into Low Res Mode to see if that works? I have put the procedure below.

    Press and hold the Power button and the Pair button until you hear a beep to turn on the console. You'll hear one beep right away and a second beep 10 seconds later. The power light will flash on before the second beep. Don’t let go until you hear the second beep or see the console start-up in low resolution mode (the Xbox start-up screen will appear slightly pixelated).

    If that doesn't work, sounds like the console needs a service.

    BTW that grinding sound is actually a SFX from the console. Or at least that's what exbox is showing on the spec for the console. Similar to when you turn it on or off or eject the disc. At least that's what the sound is on mine, but yeah it really sounds
    like a disc grinding. Its not though
