    Xbox one lost saves


    I'm playing Grounded and had approximately 350 game days in to the game, I wanted to try a new character so decided to start a new game. I did this and at no time did I have a prompt to say that I will loss all current saves, so went ahead only to find when trying to go back to my original game I couldn't? What the ???? I have tried finding my saved game but no luck, can anyone help me please.

    Hi, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regards to your concern.

    It seems like your saved games were overridden, let's try to recover them by re-syncing your game data by quitting the game then performing a powercycle by following the steps below:

    POWERCYCLE CONSOLE​​​

    1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off. ​​​

    2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller. ​​​

    Once you're back on the home dashboard launch the game and make sure to wait for the game to sync 100%.

    Hello, if you have not saved your Xbox 360 games in the cloud, when you move to Xbox one, you will have lost all your progress. The same happened to me. I lost all the games that I had saved since at that time they did not upload to the cloud, a greeting.

    You missed the point entirely.

    Xbox Life Cloud Save continued syncing with my local Xbox One hard drive every time I started the game. The complete safe was never lost, otherwise the sync would have restored it.

    When part of my information disappeared, the sync still happened, but treated the new version -- with the missing data -- as official, and overwrite the other save (that was not missing anything) with the one that was.

    Cloud save worked to back up my save, but could not recognize that my save had mysteriously lost some data.
