    I've been having somewhat of a living nightmare the past few weeks and I really am at my wit's end trying to figure out what to do.

    I bought an Xbox One about a month ago off of Amazon and games from digital downloads played fine but I could not play any disc media at all; I tried numerous tutorials and support suggestions but it would not work. I contacted Microsoft and I was able to get
    a shipping label for it to be sent to their service center in Texas.

    Here's where the problem starts...

    I brought my Xbox One over to a FedEx location on 11/10 and bought the shipping materials from them (I was under the impression that they would have been included but I nonetheless agreed to pay for them). After departing from the a FedEx location in the City
    of Industry on 11/12, there have been absolutely no updates since.

    About a week after, I contacted FedEx and opened a complaint with them. After playing telephone tag for a while, they contacted me today (11/30) and told me they lost the package and that I should file a claim, which I did.

    While it irritates me to no end that they lost it, I'm really just wondering how likely am I going to get my money or package back from them; does anyone have any knowledge or experience with opening a claim on a lost console? Also does anyone know if Microsoft
    insures the packages they send labels for or how I can get in contact with Microsoft to help get this resolved.

    Xbox One Gone and no one can help....

    So my friend and I had to send in his Xbox One. Microsoft let us know that the console was on its way back to us. We checked the status on 12/19/13 it said delivered, well we were at his house said the time delivered was 3:09 we went outside at 3:10 no truck
    driving off, no one knocked on the door and NO XBOX ONE at the door. We called FedEx and made a claim. We have been calling Microsoft and FedEx every day and so far all we got was

    12/20/13

    FedEx: "It's not our fault it's the sender’s responsibility you need to contact them."

    Microsoft: "You need to contact FedEx and talk to them."

    12/21/13

    FedEx: "We made no progress on locating you package. You need to contact Microsoft.”

    Microsoft: “We need to wait a few days to find out if FedEx calls you about you claim, then we can try and get you a different console.”

    12/27/13

    FedEx: “We made no new progress on your claim, its Microsoft fault you need to talk to them.”

    Microsoft: “We are not responsible for your console being lost and it is FedEx problem.”



    ….We are lost at what to do. That is $500 GONE!

    I think you will be fine since they are taking 100% responsibility on losing the package.

    Fedex is a reputable company and they do stand by their service. I believe they will make it right.

    Shipping Concerns? Getting Zero Help From Microsoft

    You need to contract FedEx about your lost package. Once it leaves the warehouse FedEx is responsible for it and can assist you further

    Screwed again by MS....

    It was actually FedEx not ups, but Xbox put the return shipping label with the replacement which mean they would have the tracking number already, when I dropped it off it got scanned so that should've showed I dropped it off....the email I got says there
    records don't show it in transit, I just don't know what to think about it, if it got lost it would've been tracked up until that point, am I suppose to deal with FedEx to find the lost package? That's between MS and FedEx leave me out of it.
