Discus and support Xbox one losses connection to xbox live in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; This isn't a huge problem, most of the time but it can get extremely annoying.     Xbox one losses connection to xbox live


    This isn't a huge problem, most of the time but it can get extremely annoying. What will happen is I'll be playing a game and everything is going fine then I lose connection, each time this happens I go to my xbox one dashboard it will tell me I need to
    connect to the internet. I will go into settings to make sure the internet is working. It will be connected to the internet but the xbox will say awaiting status under the status section of the connection settings. If I simply restart the xbox it will still
    do the same thing. Will be connect to the internet but not connected to xbox live. The only way I can fix it is soft resetting the xbox by holding the power button for 10 seconds. Once it restarts it will work like normal. This is not a problem caused by my
    internet as far as I know due to other members of the house having no issues when being on at the same time. The issue I have is hard to explain but hopefully it is understandable.

    The reason you keep losing connection is because of signal loss, as it "disconnects" if it hasn't received any date from Xbox Live for a few seconds. Try to connect your Xbox directly to the modem. If you still keep losing Xbox
    Live signal then your modem is the culprit and you can request a new one from your Internet Service Provider.

    However if your Xbox Live connection is stable then the router is the problem and needs to be replaced.
