Xbox One losing TV signal

Same Here. Comcast Xfinity Motrola RNG200n.

It USED to lose the TV signal, but very rarely. Now it just doesn't work at all and my $500 Xbox One is essentially a paperweight and nothing more at this point.

 

My Motorola vip2262 no longer works either since April patch.

 

I just got my Xbox One... Very disappointing to see this issue has been going on since the beginning and sill happening ... BIG FAIL XBOX!!!! I need my TV to work every time I turn in my TV... This is not good ... these issue have been around for months
now Please fix this issue !!!!!

 

I have to pull the HDMI plug on a daily basis now. Hear sound, but loses video to TV until I dis/reconnect. I've had to do this for last week or so now..so aggravating!!

I have a century Link Prism box VIP1232. No settings have been changed on STB since xbox release last year.

 

Yeah...I, too, have to now unplug and re-plug my HDMI on a daily basis. There will be sound from the TV but no video. I don't know why the problem has gotten worse since launch.

 

So my Motorola VIP 2250 replacement from AT&T started this problem. I "think" there was a release this weekend or week, to help fix this but I am not 100% sure, I did notice there is an option now for the TV and One Guide to no longer turn off the DVR when
you turn off the Xbox. I think that was one part of my solution, disabling that power off feature.

The second is I upgraded the standard HDMI cable it comes with and what I had going to my TV with these from monoprice:

I noticed now I do not even get a delay and do not have to do the "power save mode" where it reboots. I can put it into sleep and as soon as it wakes up, the TV is already going in the menu. This is even after having it sleep all night last night.

I hope this helps, but it help confirms a suspicion I had where the signal gets to low when the DVR goes into power save mode and not enough data is being received by the Xboxone. The new cables ensure the data is completely transferred now matter how little,
and has the bandwidth to send the cable commands through HDMI to the PVR

 

I have had this issue for months at it is now worse than ever. I have to perform a hard restart at least once a day! This is ridiculous, $500 for something that has only half the promised functionality. No wonder Sony is selling more PS. I bought the
xbox because I liked the idea of all the integration....to bad it doesn't work.

 

Same others, the issue has gotten much worse since the April patch (daily fail instead of weeks w/o issue). DishTV with hopper. Everything is routed through my Denon AVR-1613 receiver. I can *workaround* the issue by turning my receiver off and back on,
which is a lot faster than having to reset the xbox like others are doing.

Very frustrating. I expect far more timely resolution to problems than MS is giving. You're a software company, be AGILE.

 

This problem has gotten so bad that tonight I'm going to be unhooking my XBox from my other peripherals and using it like a 360. I'm seriously considering trading it in for a PS4. Not only am I not a beta tester for paid for hardware, but I expect what is
promised not some portion of it.

 

It seems like ever since the latest XBOX ONE update, my XBOX ONE has trouble staying in contact with my cable box. In the past day or two, I've had to perform a complete shut down of the Xbox (hold power button down for 6-8) and check all my HDMI wires.
Whenever I do this, everything works fine. However, the very next time I turn everything off and then back on, the XBOX loses signal to the Cable box. It's almost like the XBOX ONE is now having issues maintaining an HDMI signal while in standby mode.

Everything worked just fine before this recent update.

Is anyone else out there experiencing the same issue?

 

Same problem here in Dallas, TX with the Dish Hopper. I come back from standby, and the signal is lost. Interestingly, I get audio, just no video. Restarting the Xbox is the only solution I've found.

 

I'm giving up. Tried various things to see if I can make it work but nothing. Even went ahead and bought high quality HDMI cables and still nothing. Considering getting rid of the XBOX ONE as it's now become an expensive and rarely used standard gaming console.

 

Yep, since update it's gone worse. Allways blackscreens on start, when i got rid of it and try to watch TV then the signal is lost and nothing works. I'm also considering of selling my console.

 

Think my prob is the worst, TV was working fine untill the update, tryed tuning in my virgin media box since then the TV dosent work, when you try to set up TV it says my brand isent found (toshiba) which is clearly listed, same when I try to set up the
digi box (Virgin media) and can't even get into the display settings just got kicked out, something seriously wrong, mys been like this over a week now.

 

Same boat as others. Worked most of the time prior to May update. Scientific Atlanta Explorer 8300 to Xbox one to tv. Straight forward. Cable box set to 720p only and 4:3 ratio. Like recent guy, mine will connect fine with tv app IF I leave my cable box
on ALL the time. If I let Xbox control cable box on and off it almost always resets box to 480p after initial lost signal screen. Come on guys...you are going backwards!!! It was bad enough that Xbox couldn't handle my leaving cable box on 1080I but now 720p
doesn't even stay connected. Something needs to be done to boost signal from cable while using instant on mode. Anyone find a solution.....Please share.
