Xbox One Losing Connection to Wireless Network

As of right now for some reason, it has stopped doing it. I have not changed any settings on my router. Though I am playing less PVP on destiny. I wonder where the problem is.

 

I've also noticed that this has stopped for me as well. However, there's a new system update available and I'm afraid to install it. If anyone has installed it, please update me on whether or not this issue happens again.

I am also having this problem semi regularly.

A hard reboot is only fix.

I own 2 xbox one consoles. Im about to the point of selling them and just going outside.

 

The Iron Banner is back in Destiny and so are my connection issues. Joy....

 

I too play Destiny and have two XBox Ones. My main Xbox One had been disconnecting from Xbox Live and booting me from my game. My spare Xbox one doesn't do this when others are playing with me! UGH!!! It is a big problem. It has been doing it more often
and just tonight it booted me and now it won't let me log back into Live. Says I don't have the right password which is BS. What am I supposed to do? Tried hard boot and it didn't work. Disconnected the power and still will not let me connect. My Xbox One
is only three months old. Refund? Maybe time to switch platforms. PS4 sounding good right now.

 

I was booted while playing Destiny yesterday. I tried to reconnect to my wireless network and it's saying I have the incorrect network name and password which is wrong. All of my other devices are working on my wifi. I tried unplugging my Xbox and router
and restarting, nothing. I have not tried a wired connection. Has anyone identified the issue with this?

 

Microsoft is in denial state about this, i started experiencing this issue and switched to wired connection, now my console is not able to connect to xbox live at all, the kicker here is that i'm out of warranty so i have a paperweight , nice way to go microsoft.

Same issue here. About once or twice a day my connection to Xbox live drops. Go to network->wireless and it won't even recognize my password to the network when I try to reconnect. Have to power off or restart the system for it to again start working.

Just chiming in here for a quick update. No troubleshooting steps have fixed any of these errors. It's to the point now where my controller won't connect to the console unless its wired, and the wifi drops ever 5-10 minutes. Support was zero help, not
going to shell out for another console when I can't get a straight answer about this one.

 

You can add me to this list. I'm experiencing the exact same issue as everyone else here on my Day One Edition Xbox One. I constantly have my controller disconnect, then reconnect, for no apparent reason. I have tried different controllers and experience
the same issue.

I also lose my Wi-Fi connection at least once a day and when testing the connection, it comes back and says that there is no IP address, when I can clearly see one. The only fix is to press and hold the power button on the console to shut it down and then
power it back on. This all happens while I play Destiny. I too believe this is either a hardware failure on the Day One consoles or some type of software issue on the console.

It is extremely frustrating and Microsoft needs to address it, sooner rather then later.

 

I've had my Xbox One for about 5 or 6 months now, and have been using a wired connection. I play Destiny as well as other games and have had network errors in the past but have chalked it up to some small gitch as it normally connects or fixes itself right
away or after a hard reset.

About a week ago though my controller would randomly disconnect, and recently stopped connecting all together. Power cycling the Xbox (many, many times) did no good, so I tried to see if I could connect to WiFi, and it wont find any networks at all when
trying to set up a wireless network. Strange is that when I first turn on my Xbox it'll be connected to the WiFi for maybe 20 seconds, then drop the connection. It's possible that my WiFi card is busted, though I have no idea what would cause that to happen...

I have had this same issue for the past few months and I feel that Microsoft owes all of its users free Xbox Live for the months that they experienced issues. This is ridiculous. If you have this many people with this issue and you can barely, if at all,
help them; then we users should get a refund of some sort.

I connect wirelessly to my modem. No router.

This happens with every game and app I use including Netflix and Hulu.

OS Version: 6.2.12521.0

Preview Program: No idea what that means

Haven't connected via ethernet because I won't be able to use it that way as my primary use.

I have contacted Microsoft Support and my ISP and both point fingers at the other. Personally I think it's Microsoft's issue because I don't have any other issues with any device, even my XBox 360 when connecting to the internet.
