Xbox one loses connectivity when external SSD connected.

Enclosure is usb 3.0 with uasp. Orico 2139U3.

Ssd is burst patriot sata III 240Gb with only a 15gb game on it.

Usb powered.

Only 1 usb port used.

I'll try the tinfoil hate method later.

Is there extra sata III connection in the xbox?

I do not have a spare enclosure no.

I do not have a spare xbox either.

No spare cable either but highly doubt that's the issue.

Wifi works fine until SSD is in, wired won't even be detected.

SSD is formatted properly. Game is copyed on SSD but either won't load because no connectivity or huge lag spikes make it unplayable.

• When you inquire about the "Xbox loses connectivity"
  • Do you lose network connectivity?
  • Have you tried an External Hard Drive, rather than the SSD?

Returned the ssd and enclosure and sold the xbox. Problem solved...

No point in playing at a huge disadvantage and there clearly is an issue that xbox doesn't really seem to care about. Sad.
