Xbox one loses audio then game slowly crashes/freezes

I' ve been playing destiny recently and within the last few days my game consistently will lose audio, more specifically the audio slowly fades until almost no sound is being prouduced (note some audio still works, i.e. any sound my character makes is audible
but no environment affects are audible).

When the audio loss occurs, is when the game then freezes. My character screen in destiny menus shows no items or stats, only the white screen with item borders are displayed. The Xbox appears to be trying to work, however takes a significant amount of
time to even process the clicking of the Xbox controller button... Even then though, the Xbox will not allow me to select to power down the console.

Hard cycling the power is the only remedy for this problem I have found, however the game will continue to crash in this fashion every hour or so of gameplay.

I have not tried a factory reset on my xbox as I do not want to lose all of my game data. Please help!

Game streaming constantly crashes.

Even with wired connection from xbox one x to pc, the game streaming function always crashes. This happens no matter the game/computer/streaming quality/wired/wireless. The video will freeze but the audio and controls will work. The bottom says network issues,
then the stream crashes. It happens at random intervals. When it is steaming, it runs flawlessly even on very high, but the disconnects make games unplayable.

 

Blu Ray app pauses in the middle of movies!!!

I have the Xbox One S and it will lose sound for 3-10 seconds in the middle of a DVD or Blu Ray. Then the video will freeze while the audio "catches up". Anyone else have this problem? Xbox help was terrible and offered no assistance...

Sorry to hear about the crash issue! Does this issue only occur in Destiny? If so, let's start by clearing persistent storage. If that does not help, try Uninstalling
and Reinstalling Destiny.

To clear persistent storage on the Xbox One console, follow the steps below:

• Press the menu button on your Xbox One controller and select 'Settings'.
  
• In the Settings menu, select Disc & Blu-ray settings.
• From here, select Persistent storage and clear it.

Did Destiny's updates freeze on a certain percentage when you just got it? Because this happened to me also. I can't remember how many times I cycled my power to play the game again. But after about the 10th time my Xbox never fully turned back on. I just
sent it in for repair. If it turns on and never registers the tv or the controller then its time is near.
