xbox one looses wireless network connection

i am finding it very difficult to connect my Xbox one to my wireless network. my wireless network works perfectly with my phines and computer, but jus having a nightmarish time connecting. Is there anything microsoft can do to help with this. i get the same
message of DHCP not being recognised o have tried everything From changing the router IP address still nothing.

Oh. and both my PC and Xbox one are connected to the network with a cable. They aren't connected wireless.

How to Configure and test your Xbox 360 wireless Internet connection

After you have connected the Xbox 360 Wireless Connecting Adapter to your original Xbox 360 console, you have to configure and test the wireless connection.

Steps to Follow

1. On your controller, press the Guide button and proceed to Settings, then choose System Settings.

2. Go to Network Settings then select the name of your wireless network.

Note: If you do not find your wireless network, go to Advanced Options and then select Specify Unlisted Network. Proceed to enter the name of your wireless network, after which you will be asked to select the security type.

3. Enter your wireless network password.

4. You will get a prompt to update your console software. Select Yes.

Still Not Connecting?

If you get a connection error message after these steps, you should try using the Xbox LIVE Connection Solution to fix the problem.

Scared to turn off my Xbox now cos I think it won't connect to the Internet later on... shudnt be that way shud it.

I had this problem at first!

I did a hard reset on my one by holding the power button on the console for ten seconds or so...

Then I unplugged my router and modem for 30 seconds. Let the internet come back on THEN turn your Xbox One on. Haven't had any problems since I done this!

Wired or Wireless? Also, when you loose connection to Xbox Live, do you loose connection to the internet too, like on a PC?
