Xbox One loose connection to controller.

Dear forum, i need your help.

I have bought my Xbox One in November 2014 it was the special edition for the Advanced Warfare 1tb. But six month later my two controllers started to loose sync randomly and so the wifi. I run all troubleshoot articles and much more but there is no way
the only way was to use a USB cable to play my games. So i contact microsoft and they change my console as it was under warranty. So i got a new console same special edition. And all was fine for but again i have the same issue. Both my controllers just loose
sync and i need to remove the batteries and put it again to get synced again. But now my Xobx is not under warranty. I need to trouble shoot this:

I know is not the controller as every thing was fine for so long

Is not my wifi router as the first time this happen with me i was living in Brazil and now I´m in Dubai. Different route and everything.

I don´t have a microwave or cordless phone to cause other interference

The wifi connection with the xbox is not loose at any time.

Is there some kind o check i can run to see if is a hardware error on my xbox?

Do anyone have any other ideias to try to fix this issue, the only one i can think is buy a long usb cable and get used to this.

Cannot connect XBox One Controller after failed updating driver

Hello all. I have an issue with my XBox One Controller.

I'm connecting my wired XBox One Controller to PC and updating the driver using XBox Accessories. But in the middle of the updating process, my connection suddenly lost because of the loosen cable and my PC can't recognize the controller anymore.

Can I re-flash my controller or is there any other method? Thanks.

Headset HELP

If you have another headset (even a regular wired headset that comes with an Xbox, or a plain hands-free headset for an old cell phone) you can try that. If headset 2 also has the loose connection problem, then you know it's your controller at fault. If
headset 2 works, then try another controller. If controller 2 also has the loose connection problem then you know it's your headset's wire at fault.

Try to restore your console to factory settings. If issue persist, sorry, the only thing you can do is to request a new console

Note: When you receive a new console, your warranty (technical warranty) apply for 3 months, starting the day you received your new xbox

Mine has started to do the same since like 2 months ago. I try syncing it manually with my console, but the issue returns. I have the Xbox One Day One Edition Console I got November 2013 when Xbox One came out.

I've never updated my controller. Take a look at Xbox 360. There's none of this having to update your CONTROLLER rubbish. It's only the console that should need updating.

Thank goodness I'm switching to the Xbox One X console November 7. We have far too many updates to make updating a CONTROLLER mandatory (which it isn't mandatory). You could still update the controller and I'll bet you'll still get the same issue. I think
the controller operates on a proprietary 2.4Ghz frequency. Perhaps 2.4239094239120910299293 frequency. I have a lot of wireless devices connected to my home network, and none of them except Xbox One controller, has such an issue.

In my opinion, it's bad software. The console can't stand all these updates and changes that it now struggles to talk to the controller too XD. I really think it's a software issue. Everything was working fine until they rolled out some update. And it is
possible for updates to stuff up certain hardware and stuff.

Just manually pair your controller with your console. That is like a fail safe way. I wouldn't bother updating your controller. Next they'll be wanting to update Kinect, update your HDMI chord, and what have you....

Yeah this is a hit or miss deal. Today it worked fine for about 90 minutes. No problems. I followed my routine procedure of manually turning off the console by holding the power button down... waiting for the controller light to stop flashing, and then
count 10 seconds before releasing the power button. This seems to be the only way I can shut down w/o creating problems, but sometimes the disconnect issue resurfaces. My start up procedure is to manually turn the console on and wait for it to fully boot
as you do and then turn on the controller. I have not tried going into settings/restart yet so I'll try that next time if I can keep the controller connected long enough. What madness is this? I'm going to start looking for a 12 foot usb cable. Seems
silly, but......

I've had my X1 for some 2 years and it does this as well. My solution isn't a hard reset but rather with the controller connected, I go into settings and click restart console. Which at least for a week or two often solves the problem for me.

When during those times the controller fails to connect, or looses connection, I manually turn the console off (not a hard reset) and after a few minutes back on, then after the console fully boots up I turn the controller back on, which for some odd reason
then syncs with the console. I then go into settings/restart console and... No worries for weeks on end.
