Xbox One Logitech G27 Driver

I have complete logitech g27 wheel set up, with a good bit of money tied up, and I was really disappointed to find that xbox one does not support the wheel. GT5 and 6 on playstation all support it and it worked XBOX 360 as well (with a converter), but not
XBOX One? Thats amazing Microsoft with all this technology cannot support some simple after market electronic.

My question is simple, Microsoft Will you please develop a driver for xbox one and the logitech G27 wheel? If you want forza to be a "real" driving experience, well you need to give people something other then the wheel in your online store. Because everyone
knows thats not giving you the feeling of driving a car.

Logitech Accesories?

Why can't I use a Logitech G27 on Xbox 360 or Xbox One? Will we be able to in the future? Can logitech be added to the list of supported Accesories?? Thanks

You're looking at the wrong party if you think this is Microsoft or Logitech's problem.

You have that backwards. If Logitech wants to support Microsoft's console platforms, they have to play by Microsoft's rules. They don't want to, hence no support.

Microsoft doesn't read this forum for feedback. Try posting something at
Xbox Ideas, powered by UserVoice , though it isn't up to Microsoft, it's up to Logitech, and that's not going to happen based on past experience.

 

It's very clear the point in them not allowing you to use third party wheels is to funnel people into buying their overpriced $400 official wheel. If you're interested in overpaying,

[/quote]Good thing nobody has, or ever will be banned for using a third party "converter" or controller.

completely different than the one used by PC and PS3. I've no reason to believe they were lying.

Microsoft stopped making their wheel years ago for the 360. They don't have one
for the Xbox One. The only wheels available are from licensed third party providers.

 

I think they make a lot of people happy when supporting Logitech G25/G27 wheels. Xbox is already behind PlayStation. If they don't do it, they will loose more gamers to "the other side".

How simple can it be ? When I put my G27 wheel in my Microsoft Windows 8 PC it automatically downloads a driver of 13MB and done. Now I don't buy any race games for my Xbox One, I'll buy them for PC.

 

The PS4 doesn't any Logitech wheels either. The only ones that work on that console are made by Thrustmaster.

The Xbox 360 wheels had a proprietary chip in them from Infineon, presumably for security purposes (the PS3 was hacked via USB after all), so I would assume that the situation is similar on the Xbox One. From my understanding, Logitech didn't want to make
a version of the wheel with that chip in it for whatever reason - licensing costs maybe?

 

I have done a bit of reading up and people are getting that wheel to work on a Xbox one!!!! They are using a adapter called cronusmax.

 

I got an Xbox just for the Entertainment side, but have bought some games including the Forza games. As a PC gaming nut, I have a G27 and Playseat and I must confess to being frustrated that it doesn't work on Xbox One. Surely a Win:Win approach would be
for MS and Logitech to get their heads together and make kind of Logitech Steering Pack app available and sell it in the store. As an owner of Xbox One and of Windows PC with G27, I would be prepared to buy such a thing if I could play Forza on my G27. What
isn't going to happen... Me buying a new (inferior) wheel just for the Xbox one.. why would I? I have the best wheel there is.

 

They support the g29 so they should also support the g27....please add support ms

 

I was just getting ready to buy an Xbox one x and Red Dead Rider 2 with the $100 off deal at Gamespot and grab a Forza for the hell of it but I have a Logitech G27 and love it on my PS3.

Will wait for PS5 next year and keep my G27, my money to keep. You want it,make me happy.
