Xbox one logging in users who aren't present

My xbox one keeps logging in users who aren't present. Sometimes telling me I'm no longer present and logging them in instead and other times logging multiple people in when there is only one here.

I've done the "xbox doesnt recognize me" about 8 times now and nothing has change. Even at this moment I'm sitting on my couch by myself on my laptop and it's telling me that me and my wife are here. If I go to kinect settings the camera only shows me (there
isnt say a pet the kinect is thinking may be someone else) yet 2 people are logged in. If i log out the second person it immediately signs them back in.

How do i fix this? Just dont use the family settings and only have 1 account? please help!

XBOX One Bad Value

Welcome to XBL. Just a brief impromptu history lesson. This happens pretty much every year around the holidays. All of the consoles that were Christmas presents all logging on, DLing updates, creating accounts, logging into game servers/azure... random bugs
and temporary service interruptions aren't uncommon at all.

Add to that the fact that, as of late, XBL has had its fair share of issues not related to a sudden surge of new users.

If you're not a very patient person, you picked the wrong time of year to be on XBL.

No not really. While it may be more difficult for Xbox One users to mod the game, backwards compatibility allows you to play with Xbox Live users who are still playing the game on their Xbox 360 consoles, which may be playing hacked versions of the game.

Remember, when you play online on Xbox 360 BC titles on your Xbox One, you aren't just playing with Xbox One users.

I know how frustrating this can be. Give this a try... (support.xbox.com/.../troubleshoot-kinect-sign-in)

-Sign all other users out.

-Press the Menu button on the controller, then select Settings. Or, say “Xbox go to Settings.”

-Select Sign-in, Security & Passkey.

-Under SIGN IN & SECURITY, select Reset my Kinect sign-in data.

-Select Delete on the confirmation screen.

-Select Kinect sign-in.

-Make sure your name appears next to you on the screen, then select That’s Me.

I would do this for all users. To be safe, make sure you're not in the camera view when running through this with the others. If you don't want to do that right away, you can turn off auto sign in for the other users for the time being.
