Xbox One lockup

I will power up the XboxOne and it will be fine. I power it down and then the next time I power it on, the dashboard will come up and the controller will show that it's connected, but it won't let me navigate and the buttons will not do anything. The only
way I can clear it is unplug the power from the system and reboot it. It will then work, but now more frequently, every time I turn it on, the controller will appear to not work and I'll have to hard boot it again. I've tried removing the battery from the
controller and re-powering it on. I've tried re-connecting the controller and nothing works. Any ideas? It's worked fine for the past 2 months, but this has just started happening in the past week.

Sounds like time to call support - I've been grinding my Xbox one since launch and not had a single lockup.

 

Gears of War: Freeze and Crash After Last Update?

Confirmed it is a hard lockup of the console. Ive also tried all the options of uninstalling the game, clearing local 360 storage on the xbox one and deleting local saved games. Nothing works.

 

I am having the same problem but for the last 2 months. I turn xbox one off and the next day or several hours later i turn it on and it lets me navigate the dashboard but when i click the a button on anything be it the game disc i have in or the settings/friends
tile it doesn't let me go into any of them meaning i have to press down on dashboard buttton and turn console off , but when i do turn the console off the light on the xbox one flashes for up to 6 or 7 mins before the console powers off.its doing this on almost
a daily basis regardless of doing a full reset, and in the last couple of weeks or so the controller message pops up on screen to tell me to reconnect controller even though tje controller is powered on and no it doesnt need updating. Xbox one is really peeing
me off lately.somebody help me sort thus thing .thanks SniFFa_DoG_1 without the underscore.
