Discus and support Xbox one - Location - Romania - Buying Items From Microsoft in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; I am posting this because I realized that since 2013 until 2021 people on this forum failed to provide a proper support to customers from Romania...     Xbox one - Location - Romania - Buying Items From Microsoft


    I am posting this because I realized that since 2013 until 2021 people on this forum failed to provide a proper support to customers from Romania regarding how to buy items on Xbox from Romania. Although Romania does not appear in the Location dropdown list,
    you still can buy items from Romania using your Romanian address and your Romanian card, Visa or Master following these simple steps:

    1. Go to Settings - System - Location - pick any country from Europe, for example Ireland, Hungary, etc, as location.

    2. Restart.

    3. Time zone settings - select the time zone that corresponds to the location you picked, e.g. Ireland UTC 0, Hungary UTC +1, etc.

    4. Restart.

    5. Go and pick the item you want to purchase.

    6. Select the item and proceed to payment.

    7. Enter card holder name, card number, etc.

    8. Add your real address that is registered in your bank.

    9. Here you will get an option for the country after you add your address. From the drop down list change country (select) to Romania.

    10. Enjoy Xbox one - Location - Romania - Buying Items From Microsoft :)

    !!!! This procedure can be applied to all European countries which are not on the Location list, e.g. Lithuania etc. !!!!!

    PS: Microsoft, you are making too much money for too long without offering any proper customer support and wasting our time and everything you do is simply bad, and it's a shame that we have to answer such questions while on your official website you are
    just translating information from English to other languages that does not reflect the reality of the setting in the target language or location.

    I'm afraid it's not possible to buy consoles from the Microsoft Store for Romania, mate. The sale of physical items is not available for all countries.

    I think, it's related with current location setting. Romania it's not available as location in locations list, so I choose USA.

    I have setup a card in Microsoft account payment, but it's not apear in Xbox payments choices.

    Thank you for the response, but the situation is so comical that it's hard not to laugh when I'm writing this: Microsoft has 1500 people working in 2 locations in Romania. Are you telling me that those 1500 people are in the same sitiation as us, the rest of the romanian Xbox community?

    As a senior software developer I can't even begin to understand this. I'm buying an Xbox because I believe it's the best on the market, I wanna buy stuff and can't. Does Microsoft realize how much money are they losing?

    At least add an extra region for the countries like Romania where Microsoft has development centers, so they can purchase.

    It's embarassing, to say the least.

    I got my code from a market from my city.. My country isn't on that list of locations. ( Romania )
