Xbox One Loaded Games Not Playing and Sometimes Not Showing Up.

Hello,

A few days ago I began getting the following message when trying to play games from my external hard drive (which is where I keep all of my games). "________________ needs to finish installing or show
ready to start before you can launch it.". This happens for games I downloaded and have no disk for, as well as games I have disks for. A few times when looking at my game storage on my WD Elements external HD, no games showed up at all on the game tab.
To date I am unable to play any games or utilize any apps such as YouTube. Only Netflix works. Any ideas? Is this a console issue or a HD issue?

I was leaning toward the HD as well. I have had this HD For 4 years and never had an issue before this week.

Hello,

it's possible that you may have a problem with your HDD. If it's a problem with an external HDD, it's possible it's too slow.

Try hard reset, clearing all data. Then install some game again and try again. If the problem persists, there is certainly a problem in the HDD.

I have been having problems with Ori and the Will of the Wisps when trying to play it on my pc using the xbox beta app. It loads up fine then I press play game and it says start new game. I can't get it to load my saves. I can get it to sometimes work
if I turn my xbox on and start ori from there and then exit out and load up the game on the pc and it shows my latest save but it doesn't always work. Any help?? Really strange

There're hitmarkers, but sometimes they won't show up. I'm stuck in an endless loading screen right now. This game is a broken mess..

Sometimes shows load to 99% for me and just sit there forever but other shows play after loading to about 40-70%. I switch to my 360 and the problematic movies play fine. Strange.
