It's best to have each user have their own account.

On an Xbox One, you only need one account with a Live subscription. The account that has the subscription can make a console it's home console so games and the Live subscription will be shared with all users on that console. More info can be found here:

The Game Pass ultimate combines your Xbox Live Subscription and game together into one subscription. When you tried the 1 month you also converted your remaining subscription for the remainder of your current Xbox live Gold subscription to the Ultimate
Game Pass for free.

Hi there,

A Live subscription is tied to an account not a console. If you have a Live subscription on the account you're posting with, when you sign into the same account on an Xbox One you will still have your subscription there.
