    @Bobby...i will try today. In all honesty i don't think it's my network as everything else (PC, tablets, phones, AppleTV, Chromecast) works great on it.

    @Davexlive...i feel your pain. This is getting frustrating. Last night i decided to remove my profile then reset to factory settings. After setting up my device again it connect to live right away but then doing anything failed right away especially installing
    and opening Netflix. I had to try 5 times to install before it worked and then i had to try opening it 10 times (no joke) before it was successful.

    I took the xbox to a friend's house and experienced no issues. When i came i tried multiple different config changes to me Netgear R7000 router including restoring defaults and rolling back to previous versions. I borrowed a spare Netgear N900 from a friend
    and set it up. Xbox Live worked both wired and wirelessly. Is there any known issues with the R7000 Nighthawk router and the X1?

    I posted a thread on Netgear forums but haven't gotten any responses yet.

    At least you were able to find the point of failure.

    Unfortunately I have no experience with this router but there may be some filters active preventing you from connecting successfully.

    Head to portforward.com and find your router and see if it has any known problems with xbox, this is a strange occurrence though not sure what I can do for you with my limited networking knowledge..

    I tried forwarding all of the Xbox One ports on my router, but that didn't fix the issue.

    So you setup the one with the tool and still do not get any connection to xbl at all? Or are only certain services unavailable to you?

    Do you get any error codes except the one in your starting post?

    If there is any chance to test a wired connection, please try it.
