  1. Xbox One Live Gold subscribed to but not working


    I signed up for an Xbox Live Gold account on Wednesday with the first month free and autorenew. Whenever I try to play online it takes me to the Gold purchase page, but my account is shown as active both on the console and on my PC.

    I spent 45 minutes on a chat with a tech Wednesday, emailed pictures, etc... and after wasting my time told me that my order was still being processed.

    I have powered the console on and off and logged in and out multiple times. Any time I try to play an online game I get taken back to the Gold purchase screen.

    It has now been well over 24 hours and in fact closing in on 48 hours still nothing. This type of service does not make me want to pay $9.95 per month. It is comforting to see that others on this forum are having the same problem, but this should not be
    difficult for microsoft to fix. Your own system tells me that I have an active account, why can't I do anything with it?!?!

    I subscribed to Live Gold.My status is gold, but in game it says Xbox Live Gold account is required for playing multiplayer...It is not working!!

    Seems like it's not asking you for a Game Pass but it's asking you to subscribe to an Xbox Live Gold subscription, the reason why Xbox Game Pass Ultimate is one of the options is due to the Xbox Live Gold included on the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.

    You will be needing to subscribe to either Xbox Live Gold or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate to play the game, Ghosty2506.

    I recommend taking a look at the following article:

    Xbox 1 ( Gold subscriber) - Make sure it is not set to home Xbox

    Xbox 2 - Gold subscriber account needs to be the home Xbox to initiate the sharing.

    Try this out and let us know the results.
