Xbox One LIVE Gold Membership Status

G'day Xbox One Support People and Community!

Sorry to bother you all with what may very well be a problem that will sort itself later on I have a question or two...

My Xbox LIVE Gold Membership was coming up for renewal - the expiration date was set for 15 September 2014 and, considering the new policy with respect to the Games with Gold content and all, I did not want to have it lapse on me, so I stopped off at the
store and picked up a 1-Year Xbox LIVE Gold Membership card, which I then took home and scratched off and entered the numbers found thereon into the Redeem a Code box on the Games Store.

The Xbox One munched up the numbers and in due course, as anticipated, thanked me for renewing my Gold LIVE Membership, and adjusted the date on display to indicate that I was a member in good standing through 15 September 2015, so that is all well in hand
and managed.

The reason I am writing however, is that it seems that while my Xbox One knows that I have renewed my membership, Xbox LIVE is not quite on the same page. What I mean is that I am still being shown notices on different screens that my membership is about
to expire and prompted to renew it. Don't get me wrong, I like it that my Xbox One and Xbox 360 can serve as conduits for information like that from Xbox LIVE.

The thing is, it is rather worrisome that Xbox LIVE still thinks I need to renew...

I know that access to the Games with Gold content relies upon maintaining a valid Gold Member Level for Xbox LIVE, so my first question is - am I going to have problems with that? Even though I have renewed my membership, will the Games with Gold side know
that?

My next question is, in the past whenever I bought a 1-year Gold Membership card the service always added 13 months to my account, but this time around it only added 12. Is that working as intended?

Any help you can give with these questions is, of course, appreciated!

Same for me. I renewed my Gold but xbox live keeps giving me advertisements saying its time to renew your GOLD.

Visit account.xbox.com and sign in. Under "Subscriptions", does the expiration date match your expectation? Also, have you gotten an email from Xbox confirming your subscription renewal?

Bump. I'm having the same issue. Checked account.xbox.com and it matches. I keep seeing "Time to renew your Gold" on home screen, despite my expiry date being in 2017. I'd prefer to see the link for free games that used to always be there.

Please do Not bump old threads, instead create a new thread regarding your issue, it will result in better community support.

Regarding the issue: If you just renewed Gold then it could be a temporary issue and should resolve by itself, if it remains shown after couple of days try a power cycle

Ah, that could be the problem. Xbox 360 games with gold games are your to keep regardless of your Live status. However, xbox one games with gold require a gold membership in order to play them. Once you renew your membership then you should have access
to the content again.

That's the thing. I currently have Xbox live gold but can not access my games. I bought a year subscription but it won't let me access my previous games with gold

There's currently an active Xbox LIVE Service status in regards to folks getting gold memberships and them not applying properly.
